Default 10/20 A high OOP

Villain is a typical 65/7 guy. Very loose passive, but in normal fashion will bet many hands when checked too in last or 2nd to last position.

I think this one can probably be played differently on all streets, although I don't find the preflop play to be particularly interesting as I think it is very very close.

What's the river play?

With this board, I check call here, figuring all I've got is a bluff catcher, if he has inferior unpaired overs.

Check/call is probably the best line given previous action, but after he doesn't fold the turn I think you'll see a pocket pair here a lot. Whether or not he value bets it is a different question...

I agree with check-calling. Many busted flush draws won't call, and maybe he'll bet to steal the pot. Any pair will call, so you can't get a better hand to lay down. AK/AQ is unlikely although I'd bet he'd call with those too (but may not bet if you check to him).

I don't like the line you took. If the villian only has a flush draw then he is going to "outdraw" you over 50% of the time, and if he has an eight you are even further behind. I think the pot is very small and you should give up on the flop. Now it would have been totally diferent if you had raised preflop. Then I think it would be reasonable to protect the pot. If I had done what you had done then a check call on the river would be the best line.

In my expierence, most of the 10/20 players that fit this profile will not bet overs here unless they are last to act. I think you're looking at an 8 or a small pair much more often than you acknowledge. I would just call the flop and see what happens. The other players are likely to fold anyway, since the pot is small, the board is double paired, and your call from the blinds is somewhat scary.

FWIW, I don't think the preflop play is close at all, in that you might not gain much by raising, but you clearly gain.

I would've raised PF for value, then bet out on this ragged flop. Given the way you played and your read of UTG, I'd check/call the river having gone this far and hope it's just a missed flush draw.
