Default What do you limp/raise on the button ?

I raise AA and KK.
I limp QQ and JJ.
I might add AKs with 4 limpers minimum (6-max) or 7 limpers (10-max).
Everything else is muck material.

Discuss.

Any two cards if I am feeling lucky.

I don't play when I am not feeling lucky.

Is this a joke? What is your VPIP? Without trying to be rude, I think this is awful. How do you play QQ-JJ when an over card flops? Don't you bump in to 9 6o, flopping nut straights all the time? I really hope you can let go of your over pairs on latter streets. Where do you play? Are the tables ultra-lose? If so, I can have some understanding for not raising AK, AQ, AJ OTB, but even then I would raise. You do realize you miss a ton in set value, for not limping all PP:s.

Of course, it always depends, but hands I always open-raise OTB are (full ring): AA, KK, QQ, JJ, TT, AK, AQ. Often AJ, AT, 99. Sometimes even worse if the table is tight.

I limp all PP:s, all SCs 6 7 and above. I might limp A Xs or unsuited connectors if stacks are huge.

You can't play AKs without at least 8 limpers. It is a drawing hand. And a suited connector.

Playing 9-max at Stars...

If folded around:

I raise any 2

If 1 limper:

I raise SC's (78 and up), S1G's (79 and up), S2G's (7T and up), PP's T and up, AKs, AQs.
I limp all PP's, Axs, other SC's, S1G's, S2G's

If 2+ limpers:

I raise PP's J and up, AKs
I limp AQs, SC's, S1G's, S2G's, all PPs, Axs

I actually think that I play better OOP than I do in position though.

Edit- Facing a raise I play SC's, PP's, AKs and AQs

Edit- Whenever I say AKs or AQs, throw in AKo and AQo, and I also play straight up connectors a lot too.

Edit- The flow of the table is important, too

Edit- Sourbeaver, if this was a joke, I'm mad!!!!

sourbeaver is the tightest MOFO on the planet. This post is his (very funny) idea of making fun of himself. Maybe next time he should put a in the title or something, but I thought it was a riot.
