Default AQo

I have not seen villan set out of line.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (10 handed) converter

saw flop|<font color="C00000">saw showdown</font>

<font color="C00000">MP2 ($138.19)</font>
MP3 ($49)
CO ($10.80)
<font color="C00000">Hero ($50.55)</font>
SB ($120.44)
BB ($46)
UTG ($451.41)
UTG+1 ($48)
UTG+2 ($67.65)
MP1 ($50.50)

Preflop: Hero is Button with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="666666">4 folds</font>, MP2 calls $1, <font color="666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="CC3333">Hero raises to $4</font>, <font color="666666">2 folds</font>, MP2 calls $3.

Flop: ($9.50) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>
MP2 checks, <font color="CC3333">Hero bets $8</font>, <font color="CC3333">MP2 raises to $16</font>

How confident are you he has 66 or 77? How likely are other hands I am behind, like AA or 67s? Is it possible I am ahead of KQ or 89s, or tied with another AQ?

What is my line from here out? Can I just fold straight away, or will that doom my table image and cause people to take stabs at me endlessly?

Default Resul;ts, no peeking

I suppose I took the worst line possible. I am embarassed to post this. But I wanted anyone who says "It's always 66 or 77" to see that wasn't the case. So I actually had 5 outs to the turn and 8 to the river.

actually you only had 5 outs to the river.

he had a 4 flush at the turn.

Most of the time though the min reraise at the flop means he can beat TPTK.

he played it like he made a set. i think if he was on the draw he would have just called. but your right he could have AQ or KQ but that would be a judgement call. if it was me with no real reads i would most likely lay it down.

another thing you have to think about is the future betting rounds. he has showed you he plans on playing this hand strong and it looks like you'll be charged alot to showdown your hand. with just top pair top kicker i think its a clear fold..

I disagree. Why would a set raise now on sucha non threatening board?

Again, I feel the oposite is true. If he were on a draw, a raise to take control of the hand is a strong possibility.

It seems to me like just what it was. A hand that could beat TPTK or a draw. Not a monster.

It's time to push or fold. The pot is like 30 bucks you have about 30 left so you pretty much have to push or fold.

You're the preflop raiser so you pretty much almost autobet this flop even if you miss so his min reraise could mean lots of things like a weaker Q/bluff/stronger hand. So with all his possible hands I would likely push about 75% of the time here and that number might go down significantly mattering on my read.

Raised to 16 huh...That sucks.

So if you pushed the bet would be 30.55 to the villan when the pot would be 72.05...that isn't gonna fold any hands that beat you. So that doesn't seem like a good option.

It looks like your best option would be to call the 8 because the pot is already 33.50...and when you mix in alittle implied odds I think that's your best option.

You can fold if the turn doesn't bring help and you face a bet. I think it's hard to put the opponent on a hand that you beat. I can't see a KQ raising here. And raising with the 89 would be pretty dumb because it would be just killing his implied odds (because you are short stacked).

I don't think it will hurt your table image too much - no one else knows you are laying down TPTK. Depending on the read I might fold as well, or call and hope for one of your outs to hit. You obv. can't lead on the turn if you call.

I think we're both wrong. Three 3's, two queens, two aces, 7 outs.
