Question for Arieh re: Williams dark check
On the hand where Williams checked in the dark I'm curious what Arieh planned on doing if he had missed the flop. It seems pushing was good given the hand, but I wonder what you thought he might have given his completely bizarre play. How confident were you pushing with TPTK?

Except it got Luske into a world of trouble. |

Re: Question for Arieh re: Williams dark check
The only hand I recall Luske having checked in the dark was the one against Harry Demetriou (sp?), when Harry had pocket Q's and Luske flopped a pair of K's. Harry checked the flop, bet the turn and Luske called it down and won the hand. Is there another hand from the 2004 WSOP where Luske checked in the dark?

Re: Question for Arieh re: Williams dark check
He's refering to the hand that David Williams smoothed called Ariel's pre-flop raise of about a half a million then checked in the dark under the gun.
Not sure where you got reason to believe he was talking about Luske here? KC |

Re: Question for Arieh re: Williams dark check
Because luckycharms said checking in the dark got Luske into a world of trouble, when in fact Luske won the only hand Hauser III (and I) can remember where he used that trick.

Re: Question for Arieh re: Williams dark check
I was referring to LuckyCharms reply, not to the original post. While the original post talked about Williams, the reply said that Luske got into trouble when he (Luske) checked in the dark.

Re: Question for Arieh re: Williams dark check
Luske is Williams mentor, and Luske likes the dark-check play. Williams picked it up from him.
