Party $5/10 6max. 6-handed. UTG folds, I raise 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] in MP, CO folds, and the Button, a 22/13ish player, 3-bets. Blinds clear out and I call.
The flop is A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. I check, he bets, and I call. The turn is the 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. I check, he bets, and I call. The river is an 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. I bet. This whole hand is 100% standard, right? Rob |

Seems that way. Call a raise, right?

I would check call the river. I wouldn't like to call a river raise if i bet. He got two high cards, so if he got a spade he got me beat. Would he really call a riverbet without a spade?

I don't like checkraising the flop. Entity played it perfectly IMO.
But if you DO checkraise the flop and he calls, I like leading the turn even less. If he calls the flop checkraise, he's almost never folding a hand you want to fold on the turn and will sometimes raise the turn when you're drawing live. On the other hand, checking may get you a free card. |
