Default pre-flop hand example

Party .50/1.
I'm UTG+2. Dealt 89s.
UTG calls.
UTG+1 folds.
I fold?

How good of a table is it? (I would usually fold.)

Depends on the table texture and your post-flop skills. I don't think that either limping or folding is clearly the correct choice, so I'd suggest folding in early position until you get more comfortable. If you're confident about your post-flop chops, by all means go ahead and call if you think you're going to be able to see a multi-way flop cheaply.

If the table is passive, I will play it.
