Pusing/Calling Situation
Happens all the time, wanna make sure I'm making the right pushes/calls.
Blinds - 75/150 After posting: SB - 1000 BB - 1000 -What is the pushing range for the SB? -Given you're the BB, what is the calling range, when you're fully aware that you are up against this kind of player in the SB? From the link below, is the calling range is AA-ATo, 55+? http://archiveserver.twoplustwo.com/...page=&vc=1 Was there another post or program that gives you a better idea of what hands to push and call with? I know ICM doesn't really do that. Looking for a method of knowing what 2 to push/call with for normal bubble situations. Thanks all. |

Re: Pusing/Calling Situation
If you are only calling with AT+ and 55+ than the SB should be pushing any 2. Of course if you know he is pushing any 2 your calling range will become wider. And once your range widens his pushing range with become smaller.
Game theory. |

Re: Pusing/Calling Situation
At that blinds level and stack size, it's +EV for SB to push any two folded to him. If you put him on 100% range, SNGPT says (55+,A9o+,A7s+,KJo+,K9s+,QJs). If we put him on the maniac range (Any PP,AX,KX,QXs,Q6o+,J7s+,J9o+,T8s+,98s) then our call range is (88+,AJo+,ATs+). Of course, if you know he's pretty tight, then SNGPT tells us JJ+ (or QQ+ if he's uber tight)

Re: Pusing/Calling Situation
SNGPT - Is this PokerTracker, or a separate program? Is this the program that will tell you everything about pushing and calling ranges for all bubble situations? That's what I was going for.
It's really +EV to be pushing with any 2 in this situation, if folded around to you? 23o and other junk - you push regardless? |

[/ QUOTE ] no [/ QUOTE ] Alright - then disregarding reads, since you can't put that in a program, how do you compute a "generalized" range of what to push/call with in bubble situations? Just plug in #'s in SngPT, or is there something else to consider? |
