I assume you are talking about SSH, because GSIH doesn't have a formula on page 109.

What the denominator means in this situation, is the outs you have to each possible hand combination that can beat you in this example.

Each number in the denominator is actually the number of ways to make each of the possible hands that your opponent can hold. The sum of these numbers is the total number of possible hands he can hold. In the numerator, each of these same numbers is multiplied by the number of outs you would have if he held each hand. These numbers come from the 3rd paragraph before the equation.
