Default Re: Transferring everything from desktop to laptop?

You could do a ftp server onto the laptop or your desktop computer and then transfer the files with ftp client like flashfxp (btw the best ftp client I know) and serv-u for ftp server. You just need to know your server's ip number, and that's easy: start-> open (or what is it in english, the thing wich let's you open things like calc) write cmd or command the other will work depending on your windows version. Write ipconfig, there it goes you see the ip. Now if you have the ftp server set up you can connect to the ip and tranfer the files.
