At a 1/2 online table, I would have played the hand as suggested.
The live game in question is more passive than most online games, specially lower limit. I had a fairly good read on MP
which suggested that he had trips, probably top set. That's
why I didn't push.
In the end, what hand could MP put me on? Since he checked
at the end, he obviously was afraid that I had made my str8. What other reasonable hands could I have? Busted flush draw / lower trips?
By the way, the game was in Stockholm, Sweden.
