Default Re: Minnesota Carnage: 12/22 at the \'Bury (LONG)

One other hand I totally forgot about:

Towards the beginning of the 3/6, there was an elderly man seated between us who played pretty tight and usually packed the goods. He's beaten Dougie in a few pots already. Dougie vouches outloud for the table that it is his mission to beat the man in a pot...

We get to this hand: I'm sitting out since I'm about to go sweat BK for a bit at 30/60, but first sweat Dougie on his UTG straddle... 52o. After the usually plethora of callers the old man 3-bets it and Dougie 4-bets it. Flop Q74. Old man and Dougie cap it, with another two players caught in the middle. Turn 2. I go off to the side and try to bite my tongue. Old man bets and Dougie only calls since now he actually has a prayer (I presume that it's a raise if he doesn't pick up any outs on the turn ). Sadly the story ends since the river bricks and Dougie folds to the old man's bet (but we get to see his AQ since someone else called).
