You can replace all instances of a certain word or phrase by going to Edit > Replace. When the new window appears, you can enter the word you want to replace and enter the new word you want to replace it with. After this, you can click the "Replace All" button, and it should go through your entire document and change all instances of the original word to your new desired word.
