I agree it was risky, although I had position on villain.

I just had it in my mind villain had Slick or AQ and that I could outplay him after the flop if he missed. He did and I did.

Had he made a larger lead-in bet or reraised or even called me, I was done, but I didn't suspect that villain would do those things bassed on what I had seen thus far. I would have haemorrhaged some chips but I had those and I felt I could outplay this table even taking a hit.

This was a read-based play. If you have a read on villain and enough chips to muscle a little, do you try this kind of thing ever? Not even sometimes?
