Perhaps this is better relegated to an off-topic forum, not sure, but because it directly involves Las Vegas casinos i think it's appropriate for the B&M to discuss what kinds of entities we're dealing with.

Not to be alarmist, but
if the allegations here are true that casinos failed to alert the public because of economic well-being, i think that's disgusting. OTOH i can't deny that telling people the truth would have an effect on business. (If the airlines could ask for corporate welfare to cover their own mismanagement
in addition to extraordinary 9-11 related losses, then surely the gaming industry could get a handout too. Good reminder why i'm Libertarian....)
