That's a fair point. The other players aren't saying anything or leaving, but they look
really uncomfortable, and the game is consistently about 6- or 7-handed with all the smoke/wandering breaks going on. I feel like the overall effect on my EV against the other players was negative, but it's hard to say that that's not just confirmation bias.
But, the thing is, I didn't really care much about small effects on EV. Rather, I was taking a moral stand. If I just wanted to make as much money as possible playing, I would just
sit at home. This guy was screwing up my fun and being mean, and that made me want to do something about it.
