Default Re: 109 - SF Draw early on and yet another AK hand

1st: MAN, is that sucker playing that strong. I do like the c/r coming from the blinds on the rags. My guess would be he's nut-flushing himself...attempting to "resteal" (sort-a/kind-a) what he must believe is a top-pair/draw type hand from you. The other hand that might be slightly LESS frightening (considering what you're chasing), would be that he flopped a set. Tough one. All but a couple of our outs could quite possibly be, not outs at all. Hmmmmmmmmm. Would a set push back that hard on what could be a made straight from the blinds? Yeah, guess he could. I just don't know how you get off this one here. I guess I'm coming over the top as well. Not the worst case when he calls with a set, chance he'll give it up despite his assertion if he's flushing (doubltful at this point). Good luck!!!

2nd: I like it. Early blinds, nice PF riase, took your stab on the flop...turn got wicked scary, let'r go. nh.

Edit: You just consumed my entire smoke break at work, thank you very much. Thinking about your 1st one again...In all honestly, I think I could get off having not invested the farm yet. The thing about your push though, is that the very hand we fear he has, in making our push, is the same hand that MIGHT fold to your push - the flush draw. "only" 500+ more is no small chunk of change, when he still has 1000+ back. But we are laying him close to 3:1 to chase his nearly 2:1 draw. Had you had time to go burn one, take a walk or something, maybe you could have ditched it But I still don't think you can be faulted for pushing this when you did - early or not.
