What we do is if the difference gets to 2 or more on either table, take one from the larger table and move to the smaller table. Move the person who is sitting in the same position relative to the button, as the person who just got knocked out at the smaller table.
When you get down to 8 or 9, combine tables, redraw for seats and button.
