He's the exception. Most of the guys on the competitive eating circuit are pushing at least 3 or 4 bills.

At least half the people at the hot dog contest LOOKED relatively fit. There was the younger asian girl, the guy who won it, eater-x or whatever, the more built white guy, the older woman, and probably a few others I've forgotten.
From what I've seen, the fat guys do far worse at this than the skinny ones.

The Nathan's hot dog eating contest is different, though. It's a yearly tradition that's been around far longer than the "Competitive Eating Circuit". The average competitor in the hot dog eating contest (other than the top 3 finishers or so) doesn't put away as much food as the Competitive Eating people do.
