This was in reference to your claim that certain trials were independent (although still wrong [img]/forums/images/icons/tongue.gif[/img] ) It was not a comment on the accuracy of your (or any) approximations. Those you gave at the time were obviously excellent, given the computer simulation data which appeared in the original thread. Anyway I'm glad it motivated you.

Thanks much for the correction. I am going to go take Feller out of the library because now I am curious about the derivation. I was working with my notes at the time which obviously sucked!
