I think this is closer than people are giving it credit for.
A lot of players won't push AA here becasue they want to get action and will instead make it like 300-400 to get some calls. Same thing with KK to a lessor extent.
If you discount the chances of AA/KK a little and still only have Tom push with AA-JJ/AK then the odds are pretty much there for a call. If there is any chance he would come over the top with TT or AQs then your odds are more than good enough. Since he will still have a playable stack of 520 if he loses its really a judgement call on what the all-in player will make this play with. Its certainly not an autofold.
