Since I can't find the first IRC thread, here's a start to getting folks used to it.
Download the client, here is a good list of servers
http://www.mirc.com/get.html
When you first run the mIRC client a screen will pop up asking for your name email, ect., after entering the info, look on the lefthand collum for servers.
The IRC Network is EFnet, use the drop down menu for this field.
Since all the servers are linked on the network, choose the server that is closest to you.
Click connect to server
Enter the channel name #2+2sng
hope this helps, I haven't used the program much, and don't know all the features, but this should get some folks started
