yeah, i think there's something to that, but frankly, i don't think anybody (including me) has any idea how to apply it. sklansky says that chips have decreasing marginal vlue; negreanu & gigabet says they can have increasing marginal value. i'm happy to just call it a wash and try to maximize my chipEV here. (with a smaller stack, i would be risk averse).
