A lot of people who ask what dealers make already know. Perhaps they are attempting to get some cheapskate to realize that you guys work on tips without having to be “that guy” and tell them that they are being an a-hole.
Unfortunately some people are only aware of poker because of PartyPoker and the WPT. They come to the B&M, don’t know to tip, think that they should dance around and clap when they win a pot, and think that there is a TV camera on them so they should stare down their opponent while wearing sunglasses and a hooded sweatshirt.
