it causes vasal dialation - increases blood flow

actually it was 1st used as a blood pressure medication, but a few test subjects died from use. This is why it is now prescribed after a medical examination and has lots of warnings attached. Kinda funky that it has become a "sex" medication, but makes logical sense, hahaha it should just be known as a blood pressure thing though!

Its dangerous b/c normal BP is around 120/80, v. dialators increase it to about 100/70 - which in some health conditions can cause cardiac arrest amongst other things (in like the elderly whos hearts r not as fit anymore)
