Horseheads look cheap?
I have a new order in process with Pokerchips.com; the artwork is being finalized. My subject matter was driven by my wife's commments . . .
I asked her if all else were equal, colors & graphics etc., does she prefer the A-mold or the Horsehead mold? She said definitely the A-mold, because the Horsehead pattern made it look like a cheaper chip. She's not a chip connoiseur, but has some experience handling real chips from table games in casinos.
She's representative of the average casual player who will use these chips in home games. I was originally leaning Horsehead, but I could go either way since the chips otherwise look and feel the same.
Any comments out there on preference, or any similar type feedback chip owners have had?
