I think you played it perfectly. The times you lose to a bigger flush are more than compensated for with the extra bets you gain by pushing.

I had MP1 on KJ too, or an OESD.. I figured that the chances of a flush draw and a straight/straight draw on the flop were pretty close, so I'm only behind half the time. With the other callers, raising and capping seemed profitable.
