With just over 5x the big blind, I think you have to push here. Since the blinds are going to eat you alive, this play can be made with a wide variety of hands, and people will not put you on such a strong hand like QQ. Are you telling me that if the flop had a K or A, you were going to check-fold so you still have $47,000 when the next two hands in the blinds will use up $30,000 of it? That being said, the way you played it, you correctly went all in on the flop and he did correctly call with those pot odds. Poker happens.
