Default Re: Best Feeling in poker

Slow playing a monster, like a flopped straight on a weak and gapped board like your holding 75o and the board comes 468 rainbow.

You know tp is gonna play with you unless you bet stupid, even someone holding an inside with 9T, hell maybe even two overs would play and you have them trounced.

Flopping the nut straight with the straight flush draw and scoring it. I held a 45 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] once and the board came A2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and I kept saying to myself "no spade no spade no spade". The turn comes a [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and I think crap! (it was a multi-way turn) then I realize it was the 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and got one person more to play with me to show down. That was a great feeling. I value bet that hand like no other. Unfortunately it was early in an SnG and it was unbeatable so I didn't go crazy with my betting, just enough to make him keep paying with his two pair.

Flopping baby sets on a board that looks like it completely missed the preflop raiser and one other caller, so you check the flop, turn brings a King and betting from the other two players occurs, and you call. River brings another King and to your left goes all in and so does his left and you naturally call after seeing the second caller, beating them both with your deuces full of Kings vs 3 Kings, Ace kicker and 3 Kings Jack kicker and knocking them both out of the SnG.

Basically foolin' people and making monsters and playing them right - I see too many people make their big nearly unbeatable hands and move all in instead of value betting it and sucking money out of people.
