I think you are right and wrong at the same time. Some teams go through major changes each and every year. Some teams do not. Same thing goes with coaching changes. Coaches rarely change their coaching philosophy and thus tend to repeat themselves. For example, some coaches specialize in west coast offenses and thus their games have a history of being higher scoring. Other coaches take the "defensive" approach and figure if they can stay within one touchdown they can beat anyone.

Use this information at your own risk. As always, I figure more information is better than less information. Maybe if some think much of it is useless (and I am not taking a side) maybe at the very least they can get a kick out of seeing their own favorite team's trends....
