Quick Preflop Questions
      #1366196 - 12/09/04 07:04 PM

Just two, though I might add some more later.

1 Limper, A9o MP,CO,Button
1 Limper, KTo MP,CO,Button

I raise both of these, though more selectively from MP but usually say 80%. Should I be overlimping?

I would fold both A9o and KTo from UTG and MP. (I even fold them without the limper, I might be too tight.)
From CO or Button I would raise 1 loose limper. For me it is a raise/fold option, I would never limp with those hands.

I never overlimp A9o, I fold more from MP than raise prolly, depends on table texture and the limper. CO and button I raise it most of the time.

KTo I will overlimp with tho....hmmm, thats kind of wierd. I overlimp it in the MP and raise it in the CO and button. I think I should be more aggro tho. Writting this down I feel kind of weak.

Raising them is good. A9o is raising for value from every position you mentioned. KTo is likely has more probability to be worse than a good against average limper than A9o, but you have position on limper and maybe some blinds to add to pot (or force them to call with trash which is also good) so i think it's borderline and still inclined to raise, i just like my KTo and top pair of tens on flop which makes much money from these JT,QT,T9 - very likely limping hands. With A9 you have some probability of splitting against trash limped Aces though i want blinds out with A9 more than with KT as KT is usually better multyway.
