Very interesting new feature at Games Grid...Dealers Choice games! They are pretty cool and very popular right now. Now us internet players can play mixed games like the pros.

Is it whoever is on the button gets to choose?
Are the choices the normal games they already offer?

The Button gets to choose the game from: Hold'Em, Omaha Hi/Lo, Stud, Razz, and Stud Hi/Lo. More games will be added though according to a person I asked who works at the company.

Members of GamesGrid's Very Frequent Player (vfp) program get double credit for all Dealer's Choice tables during this week, as well.

Make sure to choose the game with the greatest positional advantage. How does it work with razz? Are there blinds?

Interesting. Looks like blinds for Razz. I just made a bunch of money from some nutball calling on 4th street with an open pair.

Before it was closed, yes. It was an incredibly nice group of people and I miss being able to visit there.

It's top-shelf importance right now, feverishly being worked on by an incredibly dedicated team.
For the new dealer's choice games, no download is required as all updates have been done on GamesGrid's side so far, thanks to that team as well.

I've been playing at games grid for about a month now and love it. Once they get waitlists & handhistoys on the hard drive this may become my main site. The bonus & VFP program is awesome BTW.
Oh, and does anyone know why there is nolonger any 3-6 dealers choice? All they have is 5-10 and 1-2? I would also like to see 6 handed dealers choice with triple draw as an option.

Yeah, I played this morning, and if you like Razz, Omaha and stud Hi/low, the games are very easy............limit is a bit low, but you can play lots of tables at once. I enjoyed it - but I'm back to HE at Party and Pacific.

Nifty, I may have to give them a try. But I'd prefer having some draw games--- triple draw is a great game if you have position.

Why hasnt any site implemented wacky games. Follow the Queen would friggin rock and any site that has it, would get at least $50 in "donkrake" a week from me alone.

From a post in the other games forum
Quote:
On a related note I watched one of these games and it's a cool idea but the fact that only 1 hand of each game is played (yes before someone asks-I know it moves with the button and that changes every hand) probably led to some confusion on this guy's part if that was indeed a factor in his bizzare behavior.
I would suggest they remedy it by having the game selection not change with the actual button but by some other meachanism; perhaps a clock/pre-set amount of hands per game.

I think it'd be better if they had the name of the current game in an easy to see location, in BIG letters, not just in the chat box.
Yesterday, I capped every chance I could against someone showing open trip Jacks. The game was Razz. He felt embarassed afterwards.

My guess is so they can pay less to the VFP program.

Hand by hand, so the shark choice is always Hold'em. (Or omaha/8 if you feel frisky.) No way am I ever choosing a stud game when I have the button!
