Ok, I got tired of waiting and decided to start my ADHOC challenge. 24 hours of eight-tabling, starting at 6:00 pm pacific 1/9/2005.

I'll try to post an update here every hour of the challenge, and feel free to come and find me BUT PLEASE DO NOT SHARE MY PARTY OR EMPIRE ALIASES. If you're at my table, simply say "sup" and I will know I am not alone.

6:00pm. 0 Hour. 12000 hands left.

7:00 pm. Hour +1. 11510 hands left

So far so good. I'm on pace, basically. One table has been claimed by at least 3 2+2ers, but the rest seem normal.

I woke up at 10 this morning feeling hungover and dubious. I haven't slept today, and I tried to nap and failed, so I started early on the theory that I'll be slightly more capable of staying up for 33 hours straight than 39.

I'm a third of the way through the extended LOTR 1, though it's scary to think that the extended trilogy won't get me through half of the day. Jesus.

So far, the variance gods are treating me well. +50BB.

Give us a table number, there's like a billion 0.5/1 tables and I would feel rude if I didn't come and LAG it up for a bit.
