Re: Gold Strike WPT Jan 2006

I was there last year and there was a ton of pot limit omaha at the goldstrike and a lot of limit omaha/8 at the horseshoe which is right next door to the goldstrike. I happened to be in Memphis for...

Re: A few revisions seem in order.

At least the game seems boring to me when I play like a rock. However, in general, I don't play like a rock and in any event, the game isn't boring to me. But I think unless you're in a tournament...

Re: 234x worth a call?

I like this hand in an unraised pot in late position with a limited amount of people calling preflop. When there are quite a few people in the pot preflop you know most of the aces are out, and an...

Re: Stealing in O8 Tourneys as compared to NL

Re: O8b tourney hand

I'll preface this by saying I wasn't on the table and hadn't played against these players so I'll answer this how i would play this hand without information on the players. This late in the...

Short handed Omaha/8

Last night I dropped quite a bit of money playing heads up omaha/8, something I very rarely play. I'm a winning player
in 20/40 - 10/20 full table live games. Online I play 5/10 - 2/4. I don't...

Re: Books on Omaha 8/b

Re: Books on Omaha 8/b

Re: Books on Omaha 8/b

This question is asked many times and you will always get several different opinions on which book to buy. I've read a few and they helped me a little in the beginning. For me the only way I was...
