Re: bad night. no content at all.
Those kind of runs will happen no matter how well you are playing. I played 19 55s today and only had a 2nd and a 3rd. I went back over my HHs and still think I made all the right moves. And if you...

Analyzing my all-ins...Having trouble
OK. Let me start by saying that this is not a "Party Poker is XXXXing Rigged" post. I have been and am a winning player at the SnGs. On one day in particular, I had a bad run of preflop all-ins. Some...

I need a stats geek...err...expert
I forgot how to do T-scores and Z-scores and stuff from Stats 101. Can anyone tell me the odds of being down 42 coin-flips after 370 flips?
Thanks,

Re: Long-time, First-time here....
FWIW, if the raiser had just limped instead, I would put in a raise to 70 or so. So I still play AQ in lvl1, but almost never to a raise (unless it is a minraise, or is becoming a family pot).

Re: Long-time, First-time here....
First, I would have folded preflop in lvl 1 with AQ, even suited. There are no other limpers to make it profitable. 3-way, on that flop you will usually win a small pot or lose a big pot.
Ok....

Re: Was the whole damn forum on the 50s tonight?
I had a horrible run at the 20s yesterday. Set a personal best with 16 OTM in a row. I had only won 6 of 30 all-ins, with the best hand in at least half. I finally won two firsts and then went to...

Was the whole damn forum on the 50s tonight?
What was with all the 2+2ers at the 50s tonight? Damn. Every table had like 3 or 4. I'm talking to one guy about how many tackles for losses I had in '95 on one table, then Ilya starts talking to...

Re: Party 10+1 a Few Questions
FWIW, my stats after 600 were ITM of 41.3% and ROI of 30.4%. If you are playing close to optimally, a ITM% of 40% is a good number to strive for at an levels up to 50+5 at least. At the 10+1, an ROI...

I insta-call. I am almost never beat when someone overbets a pot like this against me. I have to have a player note that they are capable of playing a set this way before i fold. I would...

Re: SNG\'s -- The Bitchiest Poker?
Only at one table in particular, 50+5. Three different players stayed from lvl 1/2 until the end to heckle a fish who had busted them all. The chat box was spammed for the whole tourney. He busted...

Re: is this an any two push?
Yes. I push any two here. Unless the BB has shown himself to be a loose gambler. (ie. will call with any pair, ace or suited broadway cards).

Re: Bubble question, 100+9 S&G
I still push. If he is really as loose as you say, you might be able to get all of his chips in if he has Ax. That would be a great spot for you, even with a 4th place finish if he outdraws you.
