NW (+17) @ Ohio State
Just looking at some early lines for this week, but does this line seem a bit off to anyone. I know that Ohio State is clearly the better team, but a better team by 17 points?

Team Performance Bet?
Pinnacle has a prop for VT Team Performance. I'm assuming this is the number of points scored. The under at 37.5 is at +100. Does this seem like a good bet to anyone. as VT will be playing a...

Re: Adding
All I will say. is be surprised if Utah St. scores at all, I go to Auburn and the Alabama defense is truly amazing, and is going to win games for them this year now that Prothro is gone. Not a...

Re: Not so good on early streets, raise on 5th
I probably would not defend here. The guy with the 8 up raising indicates a good low starting hand, and 2 of your spades are already gone on 3rd street. You really hope that you catch really well...

Re: Stud8 Tournament 3rd Street Play
I usually just call the BI rather than completing, and play cautiously from there. I play the 5's and 10's on PS, and there is no one that will fold for you raise. People with (5 2) 8 will continue...

Re: KK level 1
At this level I don't think it is a bad push. Many players are too willing to get their chips in at level 1 with mediocre hands such as AJo. This is an easy fold for most people against a push. ...

Re: General Question
I really like Zee's high-low split poker book. I recently got it in the mail and have been reading through it. It is very good, much more than Todd Brunson's section, although I didn't think his...

Re: 2 hands to be reviewed. PP 2/4 hi/low
I agree with DeadMoney, fold 3rd. Not much value in split tens with a 7 kicker. You know you are only playing for half the pot and if anyone going low has an Ace in the hole, they can beat you if...

Re: general cash game questions
I play on stars where the ante is very favorable in comparison to the relative blinds. I played a 8/b tourney on stars for a 10+1 buyin, and I ended up making 6th out of about 170-180. The one...

Re: Anyway I can lay this down 8/b 10-20
The only thing I noticed was that one jack is already dead to Seat 1. I don't know what the exact probability would be that he had exactly JJ in the whole, but I imagine its slim with one jack...

Re: The logic for completing/raising in Stud 8
While I am a low limit player, I tend to complete only after several people have entered the pot and I have a very strong drawing hand like three suited babies. This just adds value to the hand if...

Very nice hand. I actually had a hand similar the other day but I actually hit the straight flush. /images/graemlins/grin.gif Of course I scooped. 2-6 straight flush.

Re: is there a converter for stars? NC
Good job on narrowing out the field with a high hand. I probably wouldn't raise on 4th as he could have paired an Ace in his hand and he is then far ahead. Either way he shows obvious strength for...

Re: Annoying Beginners Query
I play Stud/8 on stars at the 0.5/1 limit and have done pretty well. I've won $100 over the past 4 days playing about 3-4 hours a day. The players are horrendous and will consistently pay you off...

Re: New to Stud ... do you fold here?
I agree with Ben here. You're sole goal in any hi/lo game it to play for the whole pot. Already on 3rd street you know that you are going to play for the high end only unless you catch 4 perfect...
