Re: 4/8 at mgm hand

I was playing 4/8 at MGM on the 24th, and got stuck at a table with a bunch of TAGs. How were the games when you were there?

Re: bad run encouragement

[ QUOTE ]
Sorry if this is a bad post. I am in the middle of my worst ever bad run, and even though I am a proven long run winner and am confident in my abilities, some encouragement would be great....

Re: converting Poker Academy hands?

Oh, and I don't have the Pro version, just the regular. If anyone has gotten it to work with regular, let me know.

Re: converting Poker Academy hands?

Do a google search for "Poker Academy" tracker converter. There should be a link back to a 2+2 thread that has the converter.

Re: BTW

I've been thinking about that too. Assuming he's not completely irrational, he's gonna want your call if he's got an extremely strong hand. But he doesnt want to look like a fool (edit: if you do...

noob question

At Commerce, it seems that everyone buys chips at the table. I'm going to Vegas in about a week; is it the same there, or do you buy your chips at the cashier and then bring them with you to the...

Re: A case for slowplaying

[ QUOTE ]
There's a difference between slowplaying and missing bets. Yes, you want players to catch up. However, tht to drive anyone out. Bet at least bet it. Nothing is bete great thing about...

Re: Help???

It is annoying to wait for hands to play against people who play anything. Remember, you're better than they are. Play hands that play well multi-way. You have to grind it out in limit anyway. You...

Re-raise. He hit his flush, you've got the boat.

Re: 3 Quick Live Hands

Hand One: I'm not raising ATs under the gun. I suppose if you want to adjust to a really loose game this is fine, but I prefer tight play in early position.

Re: Folding top pair with A9 to a 3-bet after betting.

No fold? I find a fold really easily. Not only am I raised, but there is a check-raise 3 bet. Sure, someone could be on a flush draw, but a set or A5 is more likely. Too weak?

Re: Here\'s a fun one

I tend to just call here with AKo. Heads up against a maniac, easy cap. That third player keeps me grounded.

Re: KK & AA hand. I thought they were interesting

Hand one is fine.
Hand two: there's pretty much no way to really protect your hand here. No one's folding to your bet, and you can't check-raise for sure (one person to act behind you).

I think...

Re: Proper attempt for overcalls on the end?

Eh, I'd raise. If MP2 folds, and MP3 calls, you make the same amount as if you just call. At least this way, you give MP2 the chance to call two. I'm not afraid of a boat.

Re: Was this bad?

I might call this PF because there are six people in, but I usually avoid 76o at all costs. You have to hit the flop perfectly in order to play it EVER. That's not a problem in this hand. The rest...

Re: Too Weak?

You can't fold just because an overcard comes down; You'll be folding almost every hand when you get QQ, JJ. Lead the turn and see his reaction.
