Re: Live Sat. Hand

Nope.

Nor would I push all my chips in with ATs, risking my tourney life, to pick up 200 chips. Especially when there has already been a raise in front of me.

Re: Did I play this right?

Your call on the flop is loose. You need no worse than 6.6 to 1 odds to draw your straight on the turn to call this bet, but your actual odds are 10.75:1. The implied odds aren't even that great...

Re: Was this a bad call?

Never underestimate the ability of of your opponents to make bad plays. On the other-hand, if he is taking down pots with min. raises, maybe he was making a good play. Playing aggressive into a...

Re: PP is out to get me! explain this.

Could you please, if you have it, provide a link to "AlegoMagus" style of beating low buy in SnGs.
I have recently unlearned how to play and I would love to read that post again for insite into what...

Help with middle Pocket Pair

Haven't posted in awhile but this is giving me fits lately.
In general how should I be playing a mid-level PP (say 77-TT) post flop with a not-to-scarey over card on the board (like a J or a Queen)?...

Trading 2nds for 1st and 3rds

I have been lurking around here off-and-on for awhile and I have read that you need to trade 2nds place finishes for 3rds and 1st. I am not sure what this means.
My ideas (all $10 buy-ins for...

Re: Strange hypothetical question

Just off the top of my head I would say it's a no-brainer fold.

But, let me think about it. I'm going to use a $10 buy-in as an example because the numbers are easy. In a no fold'em simulation...

Re: Me and tourneys

I don't know about Empire, but at UB, where I have been playing, tight play is highly rewarded at $5-$10 SnGs. You can sit back, play only premium hands, and watch half of the field bust each other...
