The G in TAG stands for Game, as in Tight Aggressive Game.

AA vs maniac (not an everyday hand)

CO is a bluffing moron, er maniac. I've been at the table 34 hands and he's on his 2nd reload. (65vp,10pfr,8ta)Probably not a super common situation, but I'd appreciate feedback on how I played...

Re: Thanks, Mr. Harrington!

I generally play SS ring games but am thinking of starting to play more NL and tourneys. Got both of McEvoys books for X-mas. Should I read TPHAP or Harringtons book first? If so, which one?

Re: open message to gaming_mouse

so 50 choose 3 = 19,600. Right. Basically the # of potential flops after we recieve our 2 cards.

(50)(49)(48)/6 = 19600

Re: open message to gaming_mouse

This has probably been covered before, but why a 24 card deck? How is this used? Wouldn't it be (52 choose 3) that we might be concerned with?

Thanks

Re: Someone talk some sense into me

It sounds to me like you don't really have a 2200 BB bankroll. Your BR should be the working capital that you've set aside to fund your poker. What you have is SAVINGS set aside for a downpayment...

Keep it orange?

Is there a way to keep my cards with the orange backs eveytime I log on to Party.

I know that I can change them by clicking on the dealer, but can I always keep them that way?

Bathroom breaks

I'm at a 3/6 party game, but I don't think this really matters. It's the kind of game that you don't want to step away from, good +EV.

I have to take a bathroom break and I'm UTG. I look down,...

Re: 77 flops set

I'm sorry, AJ doesn't beat me either. Really thought that the only possible hand he'd have that beat me is 99 when he didn't cap PF eliminating AA.
