How much to bring

going to commerce in early march to play for four days, gonna play 40-80 to 80-160, how much should i bring? I was thinking 16K, overkill? what do you think.

I think 1,000 BBs is about right, I think 600 is prolly enough but for most people it will help them a lot mentally to be way over rolled.

I lost to UTGs 8To, my feeling on the flop was that a raise would achomplish little, it would knock out hands that i had drawing close to dead and would not really charge any real draws. The game...

UTG, different fromt he last hand, limps, MP1 limps CO limps, I limp on the button with 6c6s, both blinds call.
flop is 6h7d8h
SB checks, BB bets, UTG calls, MP and CO...

obviously i lost this one, UTG had 34o for a floped pair and a draw that turned into 2 pair. THe river bet really blew thanks for the responces.

yeah that is why the river bet was so ugly to me, not too many people limp w/ shitty suited kings.

I was ready to fold the turn to a C-r, and at that time i jsut atuo bet the river with an over pair, but in retrospect i think the bet was quite bad,

The river bet is one of the things i was not sure about. I was gonna check and then i was like he is loose don't be a pussy bet, but i was and am not sure if there was/is any value in it.

Borg. 40-80 thursday night, the game is ok but not great, no real good player but no one who is totally horrible.
I have 88 UTG+1 suits don't matter
UTG, loose str8 forward, limps, I limp, Mp1...

Hand 1 you put in way too many bets with 1 pair, they are either bluffing or have you smoked get to the river as cheap as possible, by the river you are obviously crushed.

These streaks are horrible but i almost feel better when i lose a bunch to 2 and 3 outters because it convinces me that i am a winning player and i am just running bad, rather than a losing player...
