Re: New Software Beta Test

And no, this is not a bot...I've gotten a lot of hate messages already. It's like PokerTracker or PokerOffice, but actually useful while you're playing.

New Software Beta Test

I'm developing a program for playing online Hold'em (right now, it only works with Party) and I'm looking for beta testers. It's basically a heads-up display that does similar things to PokerOffice....

Re: PartyPoker Software Beta Test

No. It's a stats program. You play, not your computer.

PT problem, PP bug, or stupid user?

I usually play 3 tables at once at Party and request the histories (100 hands) every 50-75 hands. I'm sure I request it often enough to catch every hand, but when PokerTracker puts it all together,...

Party 6-man

Does anyone know why PartyPoker doesn't offer 2/4 or 3/6 6-man limited tables? I've outgrown the 1/2 tables, but 5/10 is a hell of a jump.

I've called and written to request these tables, but all...

Re: Becoming a Dealer

Thanks guys. I never expected it would make me a better player, just that it might be better regular money than my bankroll allows me to make at poker. I had hoped that they got paid more.

If...

Becoming a Dealer

Anyone have any details about becoming a poker dealer at a casino (in particular, Foxwoods?) How much does it pay? What kind of hours can you get? Do they train new people or do they demand...

Re: Underage at Foxwoods?

Also, the reason I started this thread is that I don't like the 1-3 at TS and the 3-6 is full of fools.

Re: Underage at Foxwoods?

I think all of you guys are looking at this verry narrowly. Solid players, by my definition, aren't extremely good players. They are the guys who know what pot odds are but don't vary their play...

Re: Underage at Foxwoods?

I can play better and longer against players that don't surprise me with a 58o winner every third hand, so I'll make more money in the long run against solid players. You're less likely to lose your...

Anyone working or currently have a bot?

Does anyone here have plans to make an online poker-playing bot? Does anyone have a working one? I'm just curious because I wonder how prevalent they are in the low limit tables at places like...

Re: how many players are winning players

I find it hard to believe that most people would continue playing if they were losing. Most of the money in the vast "trickle-up" pyramid that is poker comes from people who throw down a few times...

why would you prefer a game full of solid players? i hear this a lot and i'll never understand it.

and i seriously doubt a 1-3 game in a casino can be beaten.. that rake is...

Re: Underage at Foxwoods?

Thanks, guys. Now I might give it a shot. I go to school in Providence, so it's only about an hour and a half lost if I get booted. What I'm really worried is that if they catch me on the way to...

Underage at Foxwoods?

How would an underage (19) player fare in his attempt to play at Foxwoods? Do they card at the cage? Have any young-looking or genuinely underage players found a game there without trouble? I'm...
