Re: Too aggressive with chip lead?
Pushing with top pair on the bubble on a rainbow flop is never too aggressive. Especially since he has given you NO indication of strength.
Besides, you'd still be alive if things go for the...

Re: I suck....
What's with the min-raise? If I were the big-stacked BB, I would not just call you, but I would come down hard on your ass. (depending on read, natch) At least get 3X BB in there, maybe four.

Re: What are the worst flops for AK?
Why push? Seems I see players get knocked out in the early stages constantly by trying this kind of goofiness. Some fish will call, maybe more than one, and beat you with some nutty holding. Why...

Re: small pocket pair heads up
Seems to me that calling UTG with a small pocket pair is asking for trouble . . . unless you believe in the power of presto thing.
You grabbed the initiative and kept it, but was it worth it? ...

Re: Tricky TT
Open-raise that TT!!!!!!! You say that UTG+2 is too loose/aggressive - GREAT! He re-raises, you think the button & blinds are sticking around for three? You must isolate here.

Re: another pokergenius-hand
I would call, not raise, the turn. Although I think you ended up putting the same amount of bets in in the end because your turn raise kept the SB from betting the river.

I agree with eMarkM here - and I have about the same qualifications as he does. /forums/images/icons/grin.gif
I did some rough "back of the napkin" calculations and came up with a 19.8% chance of...

Cool! They're both nuts. Call 'em down with good hands on a regular basis.

Re: QQ hand
Well now you know UTG+2 is a nut. Before you know that, however, you have to respect his raise on the flop and his re-raise pre-flop (assuming you know nothing about him). Slow down and just call...

Re: SB KTo steal
The moment you step off the gas, the steal fails. C'mon, he didn't even raise you back. Unless you have a great read, why let him take control of the hand?

They didn't do that good of a job; I thought it was a "party" hand, as in everybody comes into the pot and has a party - AKA family...

Re: What to do...

Failing #1, you must either tighten up (which you did) or loosen up. HOWEVER, if you loosen up, you MUST be very good at post-flop play and at reading people.
If...
