I think you have to be aggressive and bet out something like 2/3 of the pot, betting more if there are two of the same suit. You just have to hope someone hit the top pair and is willing to play...

I think this is an easy call. I have started limping with JJ up until level 3 or 4 and it has been much more profitable. Too hard to play jacks post flop when an overcard hits. I play em for trips...

People buying the stock when it goes down could also be short sellers covering their short which would actually be making them money (Assumming the stock is lower than where they sold short).
