Re: What do I need to push here in the 11s?

I"m any pair, any ace, K8, QT, suited connectors down to 76, one gappers to T8

You really need the blinds. You still have enough to induce a fold...

Re: Stupid Call?

i think this is a no-brainer call...you have the odds, you will only have about 400 chips left if you fold and you'll need a miracle to make the money. Right now you have a 3 to one chance of...

Re: TPTK led into on turn

raise

My guess is that he just picked up a gutshot or donkbetted his flush draw. Every once in a while he will have picked up a straight or a 2 pair.
Only 3 hands scare you and AT isn't that...

I literally have not had a summary mailed to me in 5 months. Am I the only one?

I've been reading and studying a lot lately since my game has been in the crapper. When in doubt, break down your game and look for leaks.

Stox sent me some pokertracker numbers and I realized...

Re: I got a poker coach...

First of all, thanks for the response.

On the flop check-raise. The thing I fear in this situation is MP1 bets and gets 2 callers before I check-raise. Now if he 3-bets I can fold the turn...

Re: Flopped set against straight possibilities

in a low limit game I'll raise this flop because you are likely to get people calling 2 cold. In a higher limit game I will call the flop and raise the turn.

Re: Bad TT fold against scary board?

When he 3 bets you on the turn, I am folding for sure.

Most of the time I'll fold when he bets in to me on the turn. You may catch him pumping a draw some of the time but I'd say 90+% of the...

Re: what the heck is a dataminer

my "dataminer" is just a guy who leaves his pokertracker on and continually monitors 8 tables while he is at work. He has a massive database for the party 15/30 game.

AJo - ugly flop - and I have no eff\'ing clue how to proceed.

The limper is a 39 / 15 / 1.3 and the perfect candidate for a pre-flop isolation raise.

The cutoff is a 19 / 9 / 2.4 ...he is a regular and I suspect he is a pro.

Party Poker 15/30 Hold'em (10...

The late position limper is an unknown and that usually means they are not very good since I have well over 100k hands at 15/30 in addition to a great notes file from a dataminer. The fact that he...

ATs, very boring?

Villain is a 19 / 10 / 3.2

Sometimes I wonder if I overthink these types of hands and have a tendency to peel one off when I should just fold. Not everyone is putting a move on you and the pot is...
