Re: Question About Standard Deviation

Does this help answer your question at all?

Yes it does, to some degree. I understand the value of comparing SDs to each other to determine which games and/or where to play. However, I still am...

Re: When you\'ve been a rock...

Thanks everyone for the good advice. At times like this, I'm not getting any pairs to limp with, much less raise, so raising more often doesn't seem to be an option. I'm talking about a 3 or 4...

When you\'ve been a rock...

...what do you play to change your image?

Sometimes, on a bad streak of cards, the button will pass me several times before I get a hand worth playing. Then, when I raise, or even limp, I don't...

Profit, but at what price?

For me, the issue is bigger than just whether or not to raise JJ.

Session summary - Any suggestions?

Because I play mainly at Pacific, I can't use PokerTracker to analyze my hand selection. So, I decided to keep a summary during one session to see if I'm holding to my "starting hand" guidelines. ...

Re: extracting bets with nut flush

Most of the time I wait until the blinds come around, but I do occasionally "get anxious" to play and post at a foolish time. When I do post out of the blinds, I only have four buttons: fold,...
