Definition: A lot of flops?

I hear commentators or players themselves talking about how they like to see a lot of flops. What does this mean exactly? 25% voluntarily putting $ in the pot, 30%, 33%, something else?

Thanks...

A lot of flops?

This may belong in another forum, but since I hear this statement an awful lot while watching WPT and WSOP events I thought I'd ask it here.

Re: negreanu religious view?

My only thoughts on this are along the lines of "Where does it stop?"

Where is the line between political correctness and being thoughtful of other people.

This is a personal line for everyone,...

Re: Most annoying WPT player ever

I'm going to go with a dark horse in this competition - Antonio "The Magician" Esfandiari.

If you'd like some reasoning behind my vote, you can go to www.magicantonio.com...

Re: Level 3 situation

I tend to fold in that situation unless I have a good read. At best, I'm probably in a PP vs. overs situation.

What do you think?

Re: Negreanu and Jesus

I take serious offense to all of this. Being an up-tight greedy Christian myself, I find it very offensive that you atheist deny me my right to be up-tight, greedy, and intelligent while at the same...

Re: Negreanu and Jesus

Or atheism is a crutch for people who are afraid that there is an afterlife.

See how that works both ways?

Can't we all just get along people?

I can't believe that there are people on both...

I think that is what they are referring to.

BTW - last year's model?!? When we start dating this years' model maybe we can start looking down our nose at people that are dating models at all.

Re: Limit player looking to switch to NL, be gentle and please help

I'd like to hear about this as well. I pick tables this way:

1. Do at least half of the players have the max buy-in?
If so, great - I can't double up if I'm buying in for $25 and everyone else...

Re: Do the deeper stacks turn me into a weak/tight player?

I think I understand, but could you explain how most small stakes players call too many raises with small PP's at the same time that it's an excellent play?

Do you mean you only call a 5% raise if...

Re: Do the deeper stacks turn me into a weak/tight player?

Fair enough. Do you get a lot of callers with small PP's with a 5xbb raise at 6 handed? If you do, then that makes things a little more tricky, but I don't see it happening that much at the 10...

Am I One of Those Idiots that Overvalues JJ?

Since I've been at the table, I've been selective and would look tight-aggressive to anyone who's paying attention. I've gotten lucky once hitting a set to an overpair, but other than that, there's...
