Re: Foxwoods This weekend.

Anyone know how early I should get there to register for the $500 NL tourney on Sunday? The tourney starts at 10am and I think registration starts at 7am. Do I really have to get there at 7am?

Re: Fighting off blind stealers like Raymer?

At this point I think...

Fighting off blind stealers like Raymer?

In this scenario what is the right strategy:

You have 3000 chips and the bully has been stealing blinds has 9000 chips.

Blinds are 100/200

Bully bets 600 chips (3x BB). You read that he...

Re: 55-99 Leak in my game?

You want to get a few callers, so you have the right odds for flopping a set, which is about 12%.

If you're going headsup all the time on the flop, it's not worth it.

Re: Foxwoods Improvements/Expansion

I even don't mind the whiteboards, the most annoying thing about poker rooms at Foxwoods AND Borgata is they rarely have enough people manning the cashout/cashin chips tellers during busy times.

I...

Re: AA UTG limp -> reraise attempt gone wrong

That's the risk you take by not raising pre-flop, you get trash rag hands that run you down in multi-way pots. Also you prob could of gotten the eventual winner to fold with a more aggressive flop...

Re: Foxwoods?

I second the "be prepared to be sucked out often." I can't count the number of times my AA got beat even after pre-flop raise with rags.
