Re: Solution

After they told me I couldn't do it, we (me and supervisor) went back and forth for a while. Finally, I asked what would happen if I simply closed the account and opened one a week later.

Re: Solution

They told me I could only have one account, and if I closed my current account and opened another in a week - I would be assigned the same account number. I don't know if this is true, but I would...

Opening a new Neteller Account

I was told by many players and Neteller support last week that I could close my current Neteller account and open a new one (to facilitate rake-back). I tried to do this today, and they told me that...

Empire/Party Poker ---> Neteller

I posted this question in the Internet forum, but didn't get any responses. I am hoping someone here can answer the question below - I know that tons of SNGers have multiple accounts.

My friend...

Re: AKo $100+9 in a Big Pot

Even if they assume you have an overpair, your raise almost prices them in, not including the implied odds. This is why a bigger raise is required. But, if you make a bigger raise, any continuation...

Re: AKo $100+9 in a Big Pot

Your raise is pretty bad. You are giving everyone between 3-4:1 on their calls w/position (huge) after you have pretty narrowly defined your hand. After the first caller, this is almost a no...

Re: Stealing on the bubble w/big chip lead

For many reasons, I do not think that pushing with any two every time is correct. I do think that pushing out of the SB every time is probably right, but I think more discretion is involved in other...

Re: EARLY CHIP LEAD???

Quite honestly, it depends on your style of play. If you are good at raising a lot, playing big pots, and most importantly playing and reading well after the flop - then you can open up your game. ...

Stealing on the bubble w/big chip lead

Party $55 SNG

You have ~t5,500 and your three opponents have equal chip stacks (each ~1,500). Blinds are 150/300 and 200/400. How often are you stealing here and with what range of hands?

Re: AKs and Pushing on flops

If you are looking to raise preflop here - which is an acceptable option - you need to raise more. 275 would be a pot sized raise and probably a better number. This should have the effect of limiting...

Re: Heads up SnG. Calling with KQ?

There are a number of things to consider when calling here. Below are a few.

(1) How early is it into heads up? You should have an idea of the range of hands he is pushing with based on how...

Re: What ya think of this hand?

Probably raise pre-flop. Either way, check raise the flop. Without knowing the player - I'd lay it down on the turn.

Re: Hourly rate considerations for 4-tabling

I simply meant that I'm folding the great majority of my hands - I don't use the auto-fold button. Given my extreme tightness early in the tourney coupled with the fact that I think early tournament...

Re: Hourly rate considerations for 4-tabling

I did some decent back-of-the-envelope math on this. I made some assumptions about tournament length given various finishes (I don't keep length of SNG data but I don't think I'm far off here). I...

Re: Hourly rate considerations for 4-tabling

OK - so assuming you don't start another set until the first one is totally complete, the aggregate time you are giving up is equal to the difference between the time it takes to complete your...

Re: Hourly rate considerations for 4-tabling

Although I think that your ROI is higher - I am guessing that your hourly rate is lower than what it could be. Assuming 4-tabling, you are effectively playing around 2 SNGs per hour here, vs....

Re: TJd in the BB ... pokar is hard.

I'd check-raise the flop. If I bet out - after he smooth calls the flop, I'd look to check raise the turn. What hands could he have that he would he call an all-in on the turn with that he wouldn't...

Re: Hourly rate considerations for 4-tabling

Why do you think your ROI went up? Do you think it is:
(1) because it is easier to play 4 tournaments at the same level at the same time or
(2) on average, you're actually playing a lot less...

JJ in a tough spot

No reads on the raiser. What is your play here and why? Maybe this is simple, but I'm starting to re-evaluate some of my play when I have a decent stack relative to the blinds.
