#BB downswing at limit in a casino 15/30

I had a -50BB downswing in Vegas. I feel I made a few minor mistakes when I might have been on tilt, but for the most part, my game was pretty solid. I will post a few hands in the small stakes. ...

Re: Casinos pump in oxygen to keep people \'fresh.\' True/False?

I think it might be true. When I was in Vegas I felt like I had a lot more energy and needed less sleep. I was also almost never hungry. I had to force feed myself

At these stakes, 90% of all re-raises you see are with AA. You may see the occasional KK or AK, but generally most are afraid to play any other hand with any sort of aggression. You...

Re: Monster or bluff?

In my home game, players taking a long time is always a sign of weakness. When I bet and someone takes a long time to call the turn, and a brick comes on the river, I know I have them.

Re: 76 sooooted flops flush

I think I would check the river. If BB has a bigger flush he will probably check-raise u all-in. The pot is pretty big and u are getting decent value for ur flush.

BB might also have had the A...

Hypothetical Situation with JJ and QQ

You just sit down at 1/2 NL at a brick and mortar casino. The buy-in is $100. You sit down in MP2. 1 person limps and u look down and see JJ, you raise it to $10 (5xBB). It is folded to the button...

My Big Fishy Father

I have read some other people's post talking about weaker fishier poker players who are their friends. This one is about my dad.

He plays poker once in a while when we go to the casino as a...

Re: A Blantant OT Post: Is Poker a Career goal or just a side job?

For me poker is purely a hobby. I would never play online poker for a living. Although I do fantasize about winning the WSOP, I don't ever think about 8 tabling 30 hours a week like some people do....

Re: Big Set Gets Gay Bet on the River

I think that is a raise. I would also call a bet. UTG is very loose. He could be holding Q6s or something stupid. I think you would be the majority of his holdings. You could worry about the...

Re: I folded incorrectly....

that is a tight fold. I would probably call that down without any reads. Or I might even raise that and try and isolate MP2 and hope someone with diamonds will fold.

Without any read you call that down. You are probably beat, but there is a chance that EP is lose aggressive and he might have TT or maybe A8. I wonder what SB could have here....

Re: ATo in MP with lots of blind money in - raise it up???

that flop is a raise. You want to try to isolate the raiser and force everyone to call 2 cold. You Top pair, average kicker is not that strong. There are a lot of scare cards. How would u react...
