Poker Stars Deposit Bonus?

Is there a deposit bonus to use on pokerstars? Does anyone have a rake rebate or affiliate program that I could sign up under?

Re: Ulysses -vs- MensaIQ178

There was a player on Party named "MyIQis178". I don't know if that is you, but he was a jerk and he played like a novice.

Re: Profitability advice

No freaking way. 30/60 players can win at any limit if they are winning players. They must change their strategy somewhat but most sophisticated players can and must adjust to the game they are...

Bankroll

I find it confusing that most pro's should have a 300 BB bankroll to play in a limit game in case of bad run. What happens when you have a 200-250 BB disaster? Then, essentially you have a 100 BB...

Re: Flopped bottom str8 in the blind

Almost did. If you 3 bet the flop, would you bet out on the turn no matter what card comes?

Re: I, uh, fold?!? Yeah, I fold!

I fold. It it weren't for the cold caller it may be a call. Sounds like your either tied, dominated, or drawing thin with AK.

Why the hell would you play any pocket pair for three bets out of...

Re: Total maniac punishing me...should I leave?

I'm not saying if I don't hit something on the flop I'm going to auto-fold. But if it comes Q910 of spades or 678 I'm not staying. I planned on making a lot or losing a little on this hand. I...

Re: Total maniac punishing me...should I leave?

Thanks for the responses. I agree a raise with 99 is debatable but the table was relatively tight and there was only one limper who I wanted to isolate. Sometimes I raise with 99 but only if I get...

Re: KK plan of attack

Of course it's important to get to know your player. But, if you play at Party a lot then others know how you play also.

If he's tight, it's heads up, and you know how he plays check-folding...

Total maniac punishing me

Hello All,

I'm in a great 5-10 full game online with one total maniac and the rest of us just waiting for our turn to play with him. Everyone else at the table is killing him. I cannot win...

Re: For Tiger1

Sometimes it can last up to 3 or more sessions and is very frustrating. At one point in my poker career I had an amazing run of 30 winning sessions in a row. I would stay there until I won no...

The survery also point out that extremely intelligent people underestimate how smart they really are. They think they are average or slightly above average. It is difficult for them to fathom how...

Re: Normal Frequency of Losing

I've had runs where I have 10 or more winning sessions (some are small or break even wins, some are nice size wins) in a row and then experience the "running bad" syndrome where I just get crummy...

Re: Anyone else hate playing live?

Yeah, pretty generous... if you consider the $2.60 at 15/30 and $1.50 at 3/6 average rake per hand and how many hands were dealt. I played 15,000 last month. Is that too many? LOL

I'm not...

Plus there's other things like the fact that internet players are generally better than B&M equivalents, play is much more aggressive overall, only slightly lower rakes + double the...

Re: Moving up in limits

I think you missed the fact that I made 2K in 1 month playing strictly 2/4. I think you also missed that I play 15/30 at B&M for a living. I just wanted to share my thoughts on my success at Party...

I have to thank everyone for the helpful advise. I am successfully playing 15/30 on Party. I made a hefty 8K at 15/30 this month. I don't think the online pro's are as good or even close to the...

Re: Moving up in limits

Sounds good to me! High regards for you and your friend. I have noticed is there is virtually no risk if you are a solid player to make a couple grand a month on party playing 2/4.

Re: Moving up in limits

I seem to do well in games with a few fish and some predictable and dependable rocks. Like I said, I play $15/$30 at B&M everyday just haven't had experience on the internet. It seems the player's...

I assume the same goes for internet as B&M when deciding to move up in limits... have a good bankroll because you just might swing.

Anyway, I used to be a strict B&M player as I tried internet...
