Re: Ulysses -vs- MensaIQ178
There was a player on Party named "MyIQis178". I don't know if that is you, but he was a jerk and he played like a novice.

Re: Profitability advice
No freaking way. 30/60 players can win at any limit if they are winning players. They must change their strategy somewhat but most sophisticated players can and must adjust to the game they are...

Bankroll
I find it confusing that most pro's should have a 300 BB bankroll to play in a limit game in case of bad run. What happens when you have a 200-250 BB disaster? Then, essentially you have a 100 BB...

Re: I, uh, fold?!? Yeah, I fold!
I fold. It it weren't for the cold caller it may be a call. Sounds like your either tied, dominated, or drawing thin with AK.
Why the hell would you play any pocket pair for three bets out of...

Re: Total maniac punishing me...should I leave?
I'm not saying if I don't hit something on the flop I'm going to auto-fold. But if it comes Q910 of spades or 678 I'm not staying. I planned on making a lot or losing a little on this hand. I...

Re: Total maniac punishing me...should I leave?
Thanks for the responses. I agree a raise with 99 is debatable but the table was relatively tight and there was only one limper who I wanted to isolate. Sometimes I raise with 99 but only if I get...

Re: KK plan of attack
Of course it's important to get to know your player. But, if you play at Party a lot then others know how you play also.
If he's tight, it's heads up, and you know how he plays check-folding...

Re: Anyone else hate playing live?
Yeah, pretty generous... if you consider the $2.60 at 15/30 and $1.50 at 3/6 average rake per hand and how many hands were dealt. I played 15,000 last month. Is that too many? LOL
I'm not...
