ANY B&M poker in Southeast Asia?

I'm travelling in Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia for the next month. Curious whether there's anywhere to play poker - I'm not looking for serious action, I just think it would be kind of a...

Re: Pro Players Online Usernames

Does anyone know if Layne Flack plays at pokerroom+skins under his own name? I asked if he was the real LF and he said yes, but of course that could mean exactly zero (or less). He was 4-tabling...

Log on, make some random notes, log off.

Now search the bodog directory for files modified today.

anyone play higher buy-in STT\'s on PokerRoom?

I'm debating going for the reload bonus (30% up to $300) and clearing it playing 50+4 & 100+8 STT's. I'm used to playing on Stars and Party, not sure how pokerroom compares.

It seems like their...

unbelievable maniac on Empire 15-30

Earlier today I ran into the worst player I have ever seen playing 15-30 on Empire. He routinely 3- and 4-bet preflop with any two cards, often raising and reraising all the way to the river with no...

Re: clearing partypoker reload bonus - hourly rate

Thanks for the replies. I didn't realize that NL games were raked differently so that almost all hands are raked - that's helpful info for bonus clearing (and I like NL better anyway).

I still...

Re: I push on another OESD, but now I\'m ahead- bad move?

only reason I can see not to push is if you know your opponent is a calling maniac, which it seems like he might be. If I firmly believed that he would call with any ace or any pair, I'd check, but...

timing the blinds

Sometimes in a SNG or MTT I realize that the blinds are about to increase, and if I'm UTG or UTG+1 I might try to act as fast as possible so that I can hopefully take the blinds (or at least the BB)...

Re: how do you read a long pause before a bet or raise

You may well be right. All I can try to guess is whether a pause will make it slightly more or less likely that an opponent will call my bluff. I'm inclined to think that people who haven't seen me...

well, you guys all outrank me, but I have to say I come down on the side of "it IS a Stop n Go", if it's your intention to push on the flop except for rare cases.

Is anyone really going to go...
